Joshua Aridi

Managing Consultant

Joshua Aridi is a senior research and development consultant with over 20 years of experience in program evaluation, applied research, policy analysis, and institutional strengthening. He holds a Master's degree in Sociology and has led over 70 assignments across Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, and Uganda.

His expertise includes governance, gender equality, livelihoods, education, and peacebuilding. As Managing Consultant at ARCS, Joshua oversees strategic delivery, leads technical design, and provides high-level guidance across all assignments.

Duncan Njoroge

Senior Consultant, Project Development and Institutional Strengthening

Duncan Njoroge is a project development and grants management specialist with over 12 years of experience in program design, financial oversight, and institutional capacity support. He has led cross-border initiatives in Kenya and Somalia and he is a Certified Public Accountant.

At ARCS, he provides strategic input on proposal development, sustainability planning, and public-sector engagement.

Ellyjoy Karimi Kithure Masila

Senior Consultant, Gender Equality and Inclusion

Ellyjoy Karimi is a gender and inclusion specialist with over 19 years of experience in gender-responsive research, capacity development, and program evaluation. She has supported UN agencies, INGOs, and academic institutions across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Ellyjoy holds a Master's degree in Gender and Development Studies and is pursuing a PhD in African Women Studies. At ARCS, she leads the firm's gender and inclusion portfolio, integrating intersectional approaches across projects.

Patrick O. Onyango, HSC

Senior Consultant, Governance and Public Policy

Patrick Onyango is a public policy and governance expert with over 20 years of experience. He has led legislative reviews, constitutional analysis, and decentralization reforms in Kenya, Somalia, and South Sudan.

He has served in senior advisory roles in national and regional institutions, including constitutional taskforces and public leadership programs. Patrick supports ARCS on governance assignments and legal-institutional diagnostics.

Beatrice Kamau

Senior Consultant, Gender and Civic Engagement

Beatrice Kamau is an institutional development and civic participation expert with over two decades of experience in women's political empowerment, community mobilization, and leadership development. She has led regional networks and contributed to grassroots and policy-level strategies on gender justice.

At ARCS, she brings leadership to projects on gender-responsive governance, movement-building, and stakeholder engagement.

Dr. Samuel Ngigi

Senior Consultant, M&E and Governance

Dr. Samuel Ngigi is a development researcher with over 15 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, entrepreneurship, devolution, and social protection. He holds a PhD in Development Studies and has led research assignments for FCDO, ILO, KNBS, and the Government of Kenya.

Dr. Ngigi brings technical depth to ARCS's M&E and policy research assignments, especially in governance and labor-related programs.

Ruth Wamuyu

Senior Consultant, Gender and Economic Empowerment

Ruth Wamuyu is a feminist researcher and policy advocate with over 15 years of experience in gender analysis, project coordination, and evidence-informed advocacy. She has worked with the University of Nairobi's WEE Hub, leading studies and coordinating strategic programs on women's economic empowerment and inclusive policy design.

She holds Master's degrees in Women Leadership and Public Health and is pursuing a PhD in African Women Studies. At ARCS, Ruth supports research and capacity strengthening in gender and livelihoods.

Jeremiah Oteng

Senior Consultant, WASH and Infrastructure Development

eremiah Oteng is a civil and water engineer with over 20 years of experience in infrastructure development, WASH systems, and utility regulation. He has held senior positions in government agencies and development organizations, overseeing the design and implementation of water and sanitation projects across Kenya.

Jeremiah brings technical leadership to ARCS assignments in water infrastructure assessments, urban WASH systems, and climate-resilient design.
